RCP Next Gen Pre-Course

What is the RCP Next Gen Pre-Course?

Motorcycle Safety Foundation Logo

RCP Next Gen Pre-Course is a 21st century approach to the RiderCoach Preparation (RCP) process. This online program is designed to be completed by RiderCoach Candidates over a 4-8 week period leading up to their on-site RCP. The program presents the content of the RiderCoach Guide and Range Cards in a multi-modal format including videos, audio files, images, animations, knowledge checks, quizzes, the Pre-Course Assignment, and interactive eLearning activities. Candidate progress is closely monitored to track activity, completion, quiz scores, and readiness for onsite training. This method ensures that Candidates actually go through the entirety of the RCG and Range Cards. In addition, they can learn at their own pace and repeat lessons as needed.

An expert RiderCoach proudly observes as students successfully demonstrate their new skills on the training circuit

Efficiency

Keep your RCPs FULL. Since the Pre-Course is an online program, you can put 14, 16, or even 18 Candidates into the Pre-Course. If some withdraw from the RCP (as some always do) or some don't complete their online work, you can still have a "full" RiderCoach Prep.

Next Class: May 23rd - May 24th

Video-Based Learning

Our online lessons are video-based and include images, animations, live online sessions, knowledge checks, quizzes, pre-course assignments, and audio files (e.g. an audiobook version of RCG Tab 5, Tab 7, and the range cards). We track each candidate to monitor activity, completion, quiz scores, and readiness for on-site training.

Next Class: May 23rd - May 24th

A Common Frame of Reference

"What is the demo path-of-travel for Exercise 12?"

"How are we supposed to do Exercise 8?"

"How are we expected to facilitate the slides in the classroom?"

Your Candidates will get straight answers to these kinds of questions.

Next Class: May 23rd - May 24th

What are the Benefits?

Rick Sigel, Owner of Training Wheels

…(R)eformatting the RCP … to an online combined with…in person format, allowed us to recruit and train several more coaches than we have been able to previously…(a)ll of the candidates (now RiderCoaches) were younger and came from more diverse professional backgrounds which was refreshing and valuable. …(P)reviously, we were only yielding candidates who were retired, in between jobs or had flexibility in their schedule...I am happy to report that all the candidates were as qualified as any previous RCP.

Brandon Pate & James Cooper, Owner of Riders First

"As owners of several ranges across the Midwest, we constantly need coaches, developmental training, and process improvement. Our mission is to place the Riders First. That mission requires us to ensure our coaches are prepared for their classes. In an industry that has been slow to embrace the advantages of technology integration, Be Crash Free stands alone with a solution. Additionally, and most importantly, Be Crash Free does not elect to waver or drift from standards. The ability to train new coaches more efficiently and provide applications that streamline the processes and logistics is invaluable to multi-state organizations like ours. Our company is very selective when deciding who we will partner with. In the case of Be Crash Free, no discussion is needed; we are happy with our experience and working relationship with Be Crash Free."
